Learning is meant to be shared.

Studio

Castle Farm has always been a place for learning.

The Studio is where we explore ideas, test recipes, develop products and share what we have discovered along the way.

Some days it becomes a classroom. Other days it is a test kitchen. Sometimes it is simply a place to ask questions and better understand taste, ingredients and craft.

Because learning has always been part of how we cook.

Talks & Classes

Learning is meant to be shared.

Throughout the year we host talks, workshops and hands-on classes covering everything from spices, fermentation and bread to fire cooking, pizza, Indian and Southeast Asian cooking, gardening and the fundamentals of flavour.

Some sessions are designed for complete beginners. Others go much deeper. But they all begin in the same place: understanding why things work, not simply following a recipe.

Curry Cookery Classes

Once you have booked just get in touch and arrange a date and time that works for you as well as discussing all the little details that will tailor the class to your needs and make it an experience to remember. The foodie gift that keeps on giving, a cookery class is perfect for a solo adventure in cooking, quality time learning a new skill with friends or sending big kids off to university with more than beans on toast in their culinary locker!

Exploring Taste

Many of the ideas that shape Castle Farm begin here.

The Studio is where we continue learning ourselves. We experiment, refine recipes and explore new ways of understanding taste, ingredients and craft.

Some ideas remain part of our kitchen. Others become products for our Deli or future collections such as You Can Call Me Harry.

Nothing is developed for the sake of creating more.

Only when an idea earns its place at Castle Farm does it become something we choose to share.
