If you are looking for something special, Castle Farm’s Saturday supper club is just that. The weekly supper club consists of a six to seven course menu based on a monthly theme. Guests are welcomed into the barn, at it’s most inviting when candlelit, to specially created cocktails, fine wines selected to match the food and entertainment provided by the open kitchen, watching the hustle and bustle as your meal is prepared.

Supper club bookings can be made through our events section, they are payable in advance and are non-refundable, with one week’s notice we can book guests on to another supper club or bookings can be transferred to a friend. If you are booking for a larger group over 8 please contact us to help with your arrangements. Some supper club themes will be better suited to certain diets so please see details for a recommendation.

August Supper Club

'Vesuvius'

From Pompeii past, to Naples now

In August79AD  Mount Vesuvius erupted, plunging one of the richest areas of Southern Italy into devastation. With the witness account of Pliny the Younger and the cities preserved under ash for thousands of years, life of the ancients, and their demise is well documented in modern day.

We will be exploring the customs and eating habits of ancient Napoli and combining modern cuisine of the region together to create a sumptuous Italian feast, fit for the Gods.

The gardens are plentiful in August and the menu will be full of bold flavours of the Mediterranean, handmade pasta, freshly baked bread and plenty of wine.  The menu will bring elements of heat, sunshine, ancient and modern together over seven courses.  The food will be accompanied by specially selected wines and perfectly partnered cocktails for an evening of escape.

September Supper Club

'Harvest and Wild'

From garden to hedgerow



This September we will be making the most of the Garden’s late Summer harvest and nature’s own larder by pairing up the abundance of Castle Farm’s organic produce with the season’s locally foraged treasure.

September offers an array of flavours and produce from the wild world, the chefs will be marrying these with freshly picked produce, plenty of pumpkin, squash, apples, berries, garlic, herbs and much more from the organic garden.

Guests can expect seven courses of comforting season change food, full of flavour, packed with freshness and symbolic of the most abundant time of the year.

As always, we will be creating a cocktail menu and wine list reflective of the season, celebrating hedgerows, herbs and orchard fruits.

See off the Summer and welcome Autumn with us, in the cosiness of the candlelit barn with warming food for the soul.

October Supper Club

'Oktoberfest'
Bavaria/Beers/Bratwurst

If you’re a Summer lover and mourn the move into Autumn, October supper clubs at Castle Farm are here to cheer you right up.
 

Originating in 1810 as the wedding reception for Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese, the celebrations were so much fun, they decided to make it a regular event! In the modern-day Oktoberfest has become the biggest festival in the world, combining tradition with the contemporary and centring around some seriously tasty food and drink, not to mention, a lot of fun.
 

Join us this October as we create a mini Munich in Midford, featuring flavour packed Bavarian delicacies, given the Castle Farm treatment.  Expect a loud, boisterous atmosphere, teamed with local beers, wines and some sehr gut cocktails, perfect for gathering friends and catching up over beers and bratwurst!

November Supper Club

'Welcome to the Middle East'


This November we will be celebrating the many flavours of the Middle Eastern region. Join us for an exotic culinary adventure, exploring food, flavour and culture with this supper club, perfect for sharing an evening with friends during the Winter months.

Our Guests will be treated to dishes influenced by the rich history of cuisines from the area created using beautiful local produce including Castle Farm organic vegetables and herbs, Hodmedod's British pulses and grains and something special for the dessert lovers!

As always we will be matching wines and, embracing the potent flavours by blending some delicious infusions from the garden harvest for cocktails and cordials.
